April is here already and we are getting ready for the Renfrew Music Festival at the end of the month. It will be nice to be back to live in-person festivals!

Pembroke Kiwanis Music Festival has come and gone already.....wow how
time flies!
Congratulations to Cailin (flute player extraordinaire) who received top marks at festival, won 2 awards and got invited to Provincials!
Had two great workshops (clarinet and saxophone) at Stonecrest Elementary School!
I'm looking forward to the flute workshop this thursday!
I'll be at Arnprior District High School on Feb. 7th to work with the woodwinds and
concert band.
Then back to Stonecrest on the 15th for a Senior Band clinic.
We had a terrific Christmas Recital on Dec. 16th! Congrats to all my students -
you were all fabulous!

Why should kids have all the Summer fun? Camp G for Adults Only is a week long music camp for ages 19+
Choral singing, small ensemble work, mini sessions including "Find your inner conductor", "To sight-sing or not to sight-sing", "We've Got Rhythm", "The Healthy Voice", and more! Includes a Talent Show and a Friday evening Concert for family and friends. Our focus is FUN and making music no matter your level or ability.
With or without music experience, you will find many new musical adventures to explore.
Private lesson with an experienced professional vocalist is available (extra fee applies).

Camp Glissando We had two great weeks and two great groups of campers!

I am the Music Director for this year's Two Rivers musical production of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".We have a great cast and rehearsals will soon be underway. If you would like to be involved (we always need volunteers!) please check out the Two Rivers Musical Productions website.

I will be visiting Stonecrest Elementary School in January for clarinet and flute workshops and in
February for a band clinic to help them prepare for festival.
Camp Glissando's inaugural year was very successful!
Campers and directors alike had a great time singing, playing instruments, learning about music
and composers, playing games and doing crafts. The Friday evening concert for family and friends
was amazing as everyone got a chance to show off their musical talents.
The camp was such a success that it will definitely be running again next year - stay tuned!

It was a wonderful concert and all in attendance were treated to Molly's amazing vocal talents

I was invited to conduct the Renfrew County High Schools Mass Band
for Music Monday on May 4th. It was exciting to be a part of this fantastic day
to celebrate music across Canada! A marvelous performance! A great time was had by all!
The Renfrew Rotary Music Festival held in April was a great success. Many Dove's Nest students
came home with 1st and 2nd place awards! Congratulations!
I recently visited the Arnprior District High School to give a clarinet workshop. We had a great time!
I was back at ADHS on the 24th to work with the Senior Concert Band on their festival pieces.
We had a great time and made some terrific music!
My two visits to Stonecrest Elementary on February 12th and 18th were great! We had a flute workshop
and a band clinic to work on their pieces for festival. What a fantastic group of young musicians!
